defaced idols

P. Geller reports on vandalized statues.  She is the one who organized the art show in Texas that baited two fundamental Muslims to death.  (And fundamentalism isn't bad unless your fundaments are bad.) Praise the Lord they fell for it, so that /their/ fellows got to hear and fear, rather than us hearing and fearing them. 

 But the recently reported, literally defaced statues could be the big clue why God has let us and Europe and Israel have Islamist problems at all.  Christians of past centuries have done the same to Christian and Romish statues.  Granted, the principal and spirit of something is the important issue, and therefore a statue isn't an idol unless someone worships it as a god or the God.  Still, carved images of organisms have proven to be too big of a temptation to keep around for multiple generations.  The brass serpent which the LORD God Himself ordered to be made, and was therefore good.  But, it was idolized by a later generation.  Therefore God had it destroyed.  Now it seems God uses Muslims to obey what happens to be right in their death-cult, to make up for our negligence to our true religion.
