daily wisdom – Proverbs 18:11-12 KJV.

Last time, Proverbs mentioned a strong tower that was safe. Here we have an entire city and wall (fortress-like wall), but only in someone's conceit.

In verse 11, i must have read "in" as "is" 4 times. I hope you avoid or escape my mistake.

The word "conceit" does update well to NKJ "esteem". But a small loss is the tone that a conceit is primarily a fanciful day-dream.

I drew a U.S.A. flag, because it's easy for anti-RINO Establishment Republicans to get cocky right now. Remember the LORD is our strong tower. Whenever Trump and his administration do good and great things, it shall be because God shall have guided their hearts.

My stars are missing, not so much as a message, but so the text shows up better over the blue. Nonetheless, if we steal God's glory in our own conceit — with either definition of conceit — God can remove all 50 states from this union, and should be justified in doing so.
