I disagree with the "Nuking" James that "taketh" ought to be taken as "receives". You might notice that the "NewK" also had to reinterpret "out of the bosom" for it to make sense with "receives". The imagery in the old KJV is a wicked man pulling out (taking) a gift from an upper, inner coat pocket (bosom) and it's for a judge (or someone with like power and responsibility).
